Kiaran McCormack

About: As his picture states, Kiaran McCormack is 2nd to only one man in the 2015 Stadium Series. Capturing the newly minted "Spartan Stadium Series" he came out the gate hard and finished the series in a down to the wire fight for the top spot. 

Kiaran's roots in  athletics are deep and well dug in. His semi-pro soccer career molded a mindset and that is well disciplined, and experianced. He's transitioned near seemlessly to OCR and has improved with each event, honing in and building a stellar resume with a handful of hard earned podiums.

 

His training is a mix of circuit style lifting and a heavy run program, which is tailored to the high intensity Staium style coures. To top off his already impressive physical ability, an academic background in Kinesiology and another in Exercise Science are at his disposal. 

 

Fun Fact: The phrase: "It's a small world" couldn't be more true for three Nor'Easter Athletes: Kiaran went to College with future Nor'Easter teammates Jeanelle Demers (at UVM) and Miles Bartlett (at UMO), although they never really knew each other until meeting after being selected for the 2015 Nor'Easter Pro-Team.
