Ryan Josti

Pro-Team Athlete & Sponsorship Coordinator

Residence: Holden, Massachusetts

About: One of the original four athletes which formed what would become Nor'Easter OCR. Ryan is a staple short - mid distance Obstalce Course racer with consistant top 20 finishes and an ability to tackle longer events outside his forte to help the team out.

Ryan is no newcomer to the sport, with his first OCR under his belt back in 2011, and a former member of the now defunct Mud & Adventure Racing brand, Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and experiance to the team, both on and off the course.

Ryan's training is a mixture of traditional weight/powerlifting with a heavy HIIT program which provides a foundation for his running program. A member of a number of Gyms and Clubs in  Massachusetts Ryan typically trains off hours, hitting the trail/pavement early in the morning before work, and then heading to the gym after putting is son to bed.

Fun Fact:  Prior to diving into Obstalce Course Racing, Ryan played inline hockey in the CMEHL, a draft league from which players have gone on to play for Mass Fusion, and AIHL's New England Insanity.
